Golden Globes Red Carpet Start Time and Broadcast Window
The official red carpet coverage for the Golden Globes typically begins at 6:30 p.m. ET on the night of the ceremony, preceding the main telecast by roughly two hours. The broadcast window is managed by NBC, which holds the primary U.S. television rights for the event. For the most current start time, viewers should check the latest schedule on the official Golden Globes website, which is maintained by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association goldenglobes.com.
Arrival times for nominees and presenters often begin 90 minutes before the red carpet broadcast goes live. The pre-show is anchored by correspondents who provide interviews, fashion analysis, and backstage updates. The main telecast usually starts at 8:00 p.m. ET, with the ceremony concluding after the final awards are presented. The exact start time can shift slightly depending on the network's programming schedule, so checking NBC's official press releases is recommended.
