What Day of the Week Does Mayor of Kingstown Air
Mayor of Kingstown premieres new episodes on Thursdays at 10:00 PM Eastern Time on Paramount+ and the Paramount Network. The series, created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, follows Mike McLusky as he navigates the complex power dynamics between inmates, guards, and families in a Michigan prison-town. The show is produced by 101 Studios and VICE Studios, with the first season debuting in November 2021 and the second season expanding the story in late 2023. The third season continues this Thursday night schedule on Paramount+, making it a consistent weekly fixture for subscribers.
The Thursday 10:00 PM slot places Mayor of Kingstown alongside other high-profile Paramount+ originals, competing directly with shows on streaming rivals. Episodes drop simultaneously on Paramount+ and the Paramount Network app, allowing viewers to watch live or on demand. This scheduling pattern aligns with Taylor Sheridan's broader strategy of weekly releases to maintain audience engagement and watercooler conversation. The show's consistent Thursday release has helped it rank among the most-watched original series on the platform during its premiere windows.
Where and How to Watch Mayor of Kingstown
Mayor of Kingstown streams exclusively on Paramount+ in the United States, with live TV included in the Paramount+ with Showtime bundle. The platform also offers offline downloads for subscribers on mobile and tablet devices. International viewers can access the series through Paramount+ in select regions, though availability varies by country due to licensing agreements. The show is produced in partnership with VICE Studios, and its production is overseen by executive producers including Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, and Hugh Dillon.
For viewers who prefer traditional cable, the Paramount Network airs new episodes on the same evening as the streaming premiere. The network is owned by Paramount Global, which also operates Pluto TV and other streaming services.
